Creative at DEPT

I concept, write, and art direct campaigns across the full funnel — from insight to execution. Global awareness briefs, performance ads, full-blown brand platforms — you name it, I’ve had my hands on it.

I’m the lead creative on a heritage mountaineering brand, shaping seasonal campaigns, launching new positioning work, and reasserting their place in the world (spoiler: it’s very high up). I don’t just make the work — I help make the brand.

Outside of briefs, I founded DEPT Trails and DEPT Runs — internal community initiatives designed to get people moving, talking, and thinking beyond the screen. Because some of the best ideas come when you’re two hours into a trail run and halfway up a hill.

Junior Art Director at TBWA\MCR

Pitched for and won the ATL account of one of the UK’s most profitable companies. Delivered campaigns for Merlin Entertainment, Pizza Hut Restaurants, and Wild Bean Café. Cofounded MCR\Labs, an internal AI initiative focused on education, experimentation, and finding tools that actually serve the work.

I’m a Scottish-born adventurer and creative who specialises in concepting campaigns grounded in strategic positioning and emotional resonance. With a background in photography and a master’s degree in advertising, I bring both a sharp eye and mind to every project, creating work that connects, challenges, and compels.

I’m dyslexic, delusional, and driven, constantly chasing the next big idea or brutal endurance challenge (often both at once). From multi-day mountain missions to community-led initiatives, I believe creativity, like sport, thrives outside the comfort zone.

Whether I’m building brand platforms, directing documentaries, or launching internal culture shifts, I bring energy, insights, and a drive that’s concerning.
