I feel like, as a photographer, I was always ashamed of shooting in nightclubs for extra cash, because it was seen as cheap art. I always wanted to photograph fringe communities for a documentary series, but I didn't realise I was photographing one the whole time.
Now I see it for what it is. An archive that I built up over the years containing thousands of images of the underground rave scene in Edinburg
